Tottori-Sakyu wo Marukajiri
Japanese notation "鳥取砂丘をまるかじり"
This uniquely shaped baumkuchen is made by a bakery “Panini” in Tottori Prefecture. You may wonder why it is shaped like this, but it is a representation of the Tottori Sand Dunes.
I am impressed that you came up with this idea. It is true that the layers of baumkuchen are like sand dunes in color. I have yet to visit the Tottori Sand Dunes, but I wonder if they are similar to these baumkuchen.
The baking from the inside to the outside is well-balanced, and I feel that this is the work of a quintessential bakery. The outside is coated with syrup and looks delicious.
It was hard to come up with a souvenir from the Tottori Sand Dunes, but I am sure that people would laugh a little if they received this, and in that sense, it is a very complete souvenir candy.
