Kaga Bo-cha Horori
Japanese notation "加賀棒茶 ほろり"
“Bo-cha” is a representative tea in Ishikawa Prefecture, and it has long been popular for its fragrant aroma and refreshing taste, made from roasted tea stems. This “Kaga Bo-cha Horori” is a polpolone pastry made from the Kaga tea.
“Polpolone” is a traditional Spanish Andalusian pastry, shaping round, bite-sized cookie. It is said that the confection brings happiness.
The round, bite-sized cookie is made by kneading Bo-cha into the cookie dough and it is called “Kaga Bo-cha Horori”
Milk-flavored white dough is included in the cookie. The concept seems to create milk tea flavor while mixed all flavors
The powdered Kaga Bo-cha tea kneaded into the cookie adds just the right amount of astringency and aromatic flavor, and is a perfect match for the milk cookie inside. The polpolone’s mild texture is also well matched to the cookie, making it a highly finished confectionery.
