I bought “Sweet Potatoes Made by a Farmer” made by “Chōi Corporation” in Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture. This is a company that manufactures food products using crops grown on their own farm on Ohgejima Island in Tokushima Prefecture, the island over which the Onaruto Bridge spans.
It is amazing that they can grow the famous “Naruto Kintoki” in their own farm and go so far as to make sweets with it.
The sweet potato is made from Naruto Kintoki, a premium brand of sweet potato. When you break the sweet potato in half, the paste looks like “sweet potato as it is” and is rolled into bite-sized pieces.
One bite and the sweetness of Naruto Kintoki spreads moistly in your mouth. The taste of the ingredients as they are, and the high quality of the sweet potatoes grown in-house can be felt.
