Made in the motif of a tree, it is a unique confectionary with a blend of Japanese and Western styles, consisting of yokan (bean jelly) wrapped in baumkuchen dough.

The name “Mihashira” seems to refer to a pillar cut from a large old tree and erected, and the pattern of the baumkuchen seems to resemble the annual rings of a tree.

When viewed from the side, the yokan and baumkuchen are neatly combined without any gaps, creating an elaborate image.

The sweetness of the refreshing yokan and the sponge cake go well together. The sweets associated with festivals in Nagano Prefecture, which have strong personalities, were also unique in taste.
